The agreement

Bitcoin Ticker: Menu Bar (“the app”) is made by Spartadata LLC. By installing or using the app you agree to these terms.

The app is licensed to you, not sold. Apple’s Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies to your use of the app, and where it says something these terms do not, it applies.

What the app is

The app displays the price of bitcoin and public Bitcoin network figures, and — where you enter them — arithmetic on your own holdings and your own mining hardware.

It does not hold, custody, send, receive, buy or sell bitcoin or any other asset. It never has access to a wallet, an exchange account or a key, and it never asks for one. Nothing in the app moves money.

Not financial advice

Every figure in the app is information, not advice. Spartadata LLC is not a broker, an exchange, an investment adviser or a financial adviser, and nothing the app shows is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.

Decisions you make with your money are yours. Consider taking advice from someone licensed to give it.

The figures, and their limits

Prices come from public market endpoints; chain figures come from public Bitcoin network endpoints. The app labels what it shows, says how old each figure is, and draws a dash rather than a number it does not have.

Data can be late, wrong, or missing, and a source can go down. The app is provided as it is, without a warranty that any figure is accurate, complete or timely. Do not rely on it as the only basis for a trade or a business decision.

Pro subscriptions

Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store, in monthly and yearly terms. One subscription covers every Apple device signed in to the same Apple Account.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period.

Where a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy; Spartadata LLC cannot issue them.

If a subscription lapses, Pro features stop and the app falls back to its free equivalents. Nothing you entered is deleted.

What you may not do

Do not reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app, except where law expressly allows it. Do not use the app to break the law, and do not attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to any service the app talks to.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Spartadata LLC is not liable for lost profits, lost opportunity, trading losses, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and ending

These terms may change; the date at the head of this document says when they last did, and continuing to use the app after a change means accepting it.

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. Spartadata LLC may end this licence if these terms are broken.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
